Not only is his positive energy a great motivator, but he’s also knowledgeable, and will help to rehab any injuries you have.
When I first started training with Andrew, I had suffered with a slipped disk, and had lost my momentum with training as I couldn’t do all the exercises that I loved the most.
However, Andrew has alternative options for everything, and will make sure that you find new exercises to get a good workout.
Be warned – he will push you hard! and you will feel yourself getting fitter and stronger with every session, but he’ll always make sure that your form is not compensated.
Since training with Andrew, and learning all the techniques, he has now created a workout plan for me, which I can follow on my own time.
He’s always on hand if you’re stuck with an exercise, or need any help.

I was drawn to Andrew as a PT because he has an infectious personality and I would always see him practicing what he preaches on the gym floor. Training with him is hard work but also a lot of fun, it has been 6 years now and as exhausted as I am after each session I still always look forward to the next. Andrew really knows his stuff, there are no cookie cutter workouts with him, training is tailored to my needs and goals. Nothing is ever done just for show or for the sake of doing it, he is extremely knowledgeable and always able to explain exactly why he has me do what he asks me to do. When Andrew trains me I have his full attention, he is not on his phone, or busy having conversations with other people, I have his complete focus and his eagle eye constantly checking for correct technique to ensure progression and prevent injury. Even with all of this attention to detail he manages to keep the energy light hearted, fun and full of laughs. Andrew clearly has great love and passion for what he does and it shows most of all in how dedicated he is to his clients. He has taught me so much over the years and I continue to learn from and be inspired by him. I have achieved things I never thought possible, I have competed in races and fitness competitions around the world and even appeared on Ninja Warrior just to name a few; I have Andrew to thank for that, he got me in the physical shape needed but more importantly gave me the confidence to chase these goals. Waking up for AJs 7am zoom class twice a week during lockdown was the easiest and best decision I could have made. He makes you want to get up and go right from the start and brings such challenging yet fun activities to the table- some exercises I’d never even tried before (and I gym a lot!) His friendly, professional and motivating presence encouraged me to push myself like I would have during a team gym session, while receiving quality feedback on my form and how to get the most out of each rep. AJ always paid attention to the little things and gave us props when we went up in weight or adjusted our form, and that felt great. There were familiar faces popping into the sessions each week and it was a nice feeling to grow together with these people, going through the same struggle and triumph as you. His sessions were also so affordable- only £6 for all this goodness! I can not recommend him as a coach enough! Go get training with AJ.
